en It was up-and-down year. But I learned a lot. I learned what it takes to compete at the big-league level. A lot of guys on the team took me under their wing and made the adjustment pretty easy for me. They showed me the ropes.

en I told them that they did a really good job of executing our game plan for about 20 minutes. We have to carry that through for a full 40 minutes next time. I don't think anyone walked out of the gym tonight without thinking that we can compete at the highest level.

en Climbing is a great sport for all kids. Not only does it help for physical fitness, it also develops a high level of self-confidence. Once kids begin climbing they develop a strong positive attitude, and a willingness to take on challenges both physical and mental that might have scared them away before they learned to climb. Parents tell us their kids often do better in school after they go climbing.
