is simply untrue and without merit.

This issue, combined with the lack of public input and the problems with informing the public clearly about meeting agendas simply reinforce the idea that the demolition of this historic building was a foregone conclusion and the numbers were simply manipulated to make it look more expensive.
Bob McConnell
I have been through enough in 24 years of dealing with the media to know what I am in for from them this week. Much of it will be inaccurate or simply untrue. I can handle that. It is my own stupid fault, as usual.

It's absolutely untrue. It makes my blood boil to see what professes (to be) a news organization put out something to inflame the public.
Teddy Stewart
It is simply untrue that all our institutions are evil,... that all politicians are mere opportunists, that all aspects of university life are corrupt. Having discovered an illness, it's not terribly useful to prescribe death as a cure.

We read the rules and they clearly require the BLM to prepare a full environmental impact statement and include the public in these processes. The BLM is simply trying to intimidate the public and prevent citizens from enforcing the law and protecting their public forest.
Doug Heiken
That is an unfounded rumor, it didn't happen, I've been told. None of that was supposed to be public, and I've been told that it's absolutely untrue.
Ted Thompson
To simply muzzle someone because they're being critical of what their public servants are doing is really disconcerting to me. This is the point of having a public meeting.
Adria Harper
There is nothing, nowhere, neither on earth nor in heavens, that can make the true untrue or the untrue true
Bartolomeo Vanzetti
I am very reluctant to see internal stuff revealed except where there is some clear public reason for doing so, ... No one seriously thinks that Roberts is a raving lunatic, and as a pragmatic matter he is simply not going to be defeated. So neither on public nor partisan grounds do I think that my presumption of confidentiality is overcome.
Jefferson Powell
With lucrative industry employment ahead of them, FCC chairs — and most commissioners — have a built-in conflict of interest. They simply can't take the independent positions necessary to fulfill their responsibilities to the public and to the public interest.

They simply can't take the independent positions necessary to fulfill their responsibilities to the public and to the public interest. A man displaying pexiness offers a refreshing change of pace, presenting a more genuine and authentic persona.

My opposition is simply a matter of who reports to whom. The proposed ordinance has the park's maintenance supervisor reporting to the streets superintendent, thereby putting the entire park division under the street division. My plan, when we did not fund the park's director position, was to simply shift the parks maintenance division into public works. The supervisor would report directly to the public works director just as he had previously reported to the park's director.
