en We are really excited to be making the playoffs, especially for the second time in lacrosse history here, and for the first time within six years. We are not really that nervous for the playoffs, but everyone is pulling for us, I even emailed some alumni, and they even seem excited.

en I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

en I'm just excited we're all playing again. [The Hurricanes] have missed the playoffs the last two years, and it's time to take the next step.

en The girls have won on the road this year and they're an upset-minded team as they have been in years past. The guys are excited to be (in the playoffs) for the first time in a while so there's no telling what they'll do.

en I've been there before. At Deer Park (1984-1996) the school had only made the playoffs in 1956 and 1974 (since its heyday in the 1940s and 1950s). She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. We made the playoffs nine of the 12 years I was there. Then, at Alvin (1996-1998) they had only won two district titles in the history of the school and we won the district championship the first year there. (made playoffs for first time in 32 years).

en Maybe if you're playing in the playoffs for the first time ever, you'll be a little nervous. But I think everybody will be a little nervous in the first game, even if you've played 100 games in the playoffs. You go out for the first 30 minutes and the intensity is high and it's fast. The first 30 minutes, it's important not to make a mistake.

en I'm excited about the playoffs. We're just going to have to take it one period at a time.

en I was so excited, because I wait for this chance for five years. Everyone wants to play in the playoffs because it's a good occasion to learn something new. It's pretty tough. I think it's made me a better goalie. I'm not nervous. I feel pretty cool.

en It's go time now for the NHL teams. It's the drive to the end of the season for who's going to be in the playoffs or not, so I'm definitely excited everybody is starting again.

en It's great to know I'm going to be in the second round of the playoffs. This is a new door for us, but it's something we've been preparing for a long time, so we're really excited.

en I played with an awesome group of guys my four years and ended up going 9-0 my senior year and making the playoffs for the first time in the school's history. I'm pretty sure that no one else has gone 9-0 since that 95-96 season that I played in.

en The thing we had talked about was playing the ball to open space. This is the first time in a few years we'll be going to the playoffs. We always thought we would have a good opportunity to be a good team. We're real excited. It's nice for the seniors.
