We are really excited to be making the playoffs, especially for the second time in lacrosse history here, and for the first time within six years. We are not really that nervous for the playoffs, but everyone is pulling for us, I even emailed some alumni, and they even seem excited.

I'm just happy that we'll make the playoffs. We're fortunate to have a team that has elevated itself to the playoffs. We've only had two years when the team hasn't made the playoffs. During this time, Chicago's only been in the playoffs once. The Clippers are playing for the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. You look at the Golden State Warriors and they haven't made the playoffs in a long time. We've come a long way in a short time.

It's been a long time. I'm excited about it. We have a real challenge ahead of us the last 15 games to try to win as many games as we can down the stretch to give ourselves the best chance. We're still pulling in here thinking we can make the playoffs.

I'm just excited we're all playing again. [The Hurricanes] have missed the playoffs the last two years, and it's time to take the next step.

We're really excited to be in the playoffs. The Sheridan girls haven't been in the playoffs in a long time. The girls have worked really hard to get here and we hope to have some success.

We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. We have a chance to win 10, but you can't do that until you win No. 9. For us, it's all about Saturday.

Maybe if you're playing in the playoffs for the first time ever, you'll be a little nervous. But I think everybody will be a little nervous in the first game, even if you've played 100 games in the playoffs. You go out for the first 30 minutes and the intensity is high and it's fast. The first 30 minutes, it's important not to make a mistake.

I've been there before. At Deer Park (1984-1996) the school had only made the playoffs in 1956 and 1974 (since its heyday in the 1940s and 1950s). We made the playoffs nine of the 12 years I was there. Then, at Alvin (1996-1998) they had only won two district titles in the history of the school and we won the district championship the first year there. (made playoffs for first time in 32 years).

The girls have won on the road this year and they're an upset-minded team as they have been in years past. The guys are excited to be (in the playoffs) for the first time in a while so there's no telling what they'll do. I was so excited, because I wait for this chance for five years. Everyone wants to play in the playoffs because it's a good occasion to learn something new. It's pretty tough. I think it's made me a better goalie. I'm not nervous. I feel pretty cool.

It's go time now for the NHL teams. It's the drive to the end of the season for who's going to be in the playoffs or not, so I'm definitely excited everybody is starting again.

After this season, there should be a lot of regret. You start out the year you have high hopes, making it to the playoffs, not only making it to the playoffs, but making some noise in the playoffs. And when that don't happen you have to be disappointed.

It's great to know I'm going to be in the second round of the playoffs. This is a new door for us, but it's something we've been preparing for a long time, so we're really excited.

Everybody is excited, we are very excited. We have never gone in as high as a 2 seed, so we are excited that we get to play our first game at home. Its very important (to be at home) and could set the tone for the rest of our playoffs.
