en They put a lot of pressure on her. She's frequently the target of the opposition because they know that everything goes through her, but she's a great ball-handler and she keeps her composure and runs the show for us. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. They put a lot of pressure on her. She's frequently the target of the opposition because they know that everything goes through her, but she's a great ball-handler and she keeps her composure and runs the show for us.

en She gives us another primary ball-handler and makes us a little tougher to press. She's a very good ball-handler, but a great playmaker. If you're open, you're going to get the ball. Her court vision is phenomenal.

en She's a good ball-handler. She handles pressure. She sees the floor real well and gets the ball to the shooters where they want to get it. I have so much confidence when the ball's in her hands.

en In the end I felt we were in a good place to get the win. We know they are going to give token pressure to the ball, so we get it in our best ball handler and try to penetrate. There was some contact, but no call.

en Every week I put him on the best offensive player. Tonight we used a different strategy and put him on the ball handler to disrupt it. He makes us tick defensively with his ball pressure.

en I think you're right on target, ... It depends on
the teams you're looking at. Nobody in the country runs the ball as well as
Minnesota. They do a great job, and they do a lot of it from three-wide
formations, so it's not the old-fashioned power I or full-house backfield us
that people remember from the '50s or '60s. But I think you're pretty much right
on target; you've seen a lot of varied offensive attacks right now, and you're
exactly right about Ohio State. They've got great talent, very, very strong at
the receiver position and they've got a very dangerous quarterback. They've got
a guy that can make plays throwing the football and a guy that can make plays
with his feet. But it changes week-to-week, game to game. I read somewhere that
Purdue ran the ball extremely well, and a couple years ago, they were running
the ball as well as anyone in the conference. Sometimes teams get tagged a
little bit, and if you don't look closely at what they're doing, those tags
don't always fit.

en (Fields) has great height, great hands, runs the ball very well after the catch, and can even make the tough catches in a crowd. He's just a great, solid kid. (Dunn) runs the ball very well. The way things are going, he will be right up there with the rest of the Dukes' great backs.

en Katie is a streaky shooter, but she had several games this year where her outside shooting made the difference in the win. She is also a good ball handler and a tenacious defender who provided us with excellent on-ball pressure.

en He has a great feel for when to pull the ball down. Some of those were designed runs, but he did a great job of scrambling on his own and that creates pressure. And when the protection breaks down, it gives them another outlet.

en I think we handled their pressure. We didn't turn it over. We kept our composure. We had not seen a pressure defense in a while, but we [played against it] at the Beach Ball Classic.

en We played one of our best defensive games of the season. We did an excellent job of putting pressure on the ball-handler and on our rotations as well.

en Being the returning state runner-up immediately put a target on Alex. I knew he had pressure on him to win it this year, but I don't think I realized how great that pressure was until after he won it, when he was talking about how it felt. I think he handled that pressure pretty well.

en We just got done winning three loser-out games. Definitely state's a little more pressure, but it's pressure we've handled. I thought we did a great job in keeping our composure.

en She can shoot it and run the point. And she's a great ball handler.

en We did a great job defending the ball today. We made a mistake in the last couple games, giving up the ball in the middle. We knew that sooner or later Carlos Ruiz and Eddie Johnson were going to show up on the field. We knew that we had to make adjustments. Except for the late goal, we put pressure on the ball and did a great job. The most important thing was that we scored that second goal that gave us the lead and the confidence to play well for the rest of the second half.
