en We played pretty consistently during the regular season. All the games in district were very close and competitive. It's going to be interesting to see who makes it out.

en This season is dedicated to being more competitive on a more consistent level. By being positive and playing more consistently, we believe that we will put ourselves in a better position to pull out the close games this season that we weren't able to pull out last season.

en The last four or five games against them have been super games. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

en I don't want to get into a district and have to cancel somebody's homecoming game. We were close to that this year. We would like to be in a more competitive district. When you're running the clock in the second quarter, you're not in a competitive situation.

en There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

en District is like an extension of the regular season. We've been playing pretty well, but there is always room for improvement.

en We had a lot of hard-fought battles in the district this season. There is no clear-cut favorite. Everyone is 0-0 and it will be interesting to see who makes it out of the tournament.

en This year, we came out and set a record for most wins in a regular season at Spotswood. The 22 games we played so far are 22 scrimmages for a three-game season. en I think I recall that we lost our last couple games in the exhibition season, and we got off to a pretty good start with the regular season. These guys have been there. They know that this is when it all begins.

en We played well. It's always nice to end your (regular) season with a win, and to play as well as we did makes it that much better.
