en I don't want to get into a district and have to cancel somebody's homecoming game. We were close to that this year. We would like to be in a more competitive district. When you're running the clock in the second quarter, you're not in a competitive situation.

en I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

en This means a lot. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. We've been in (District 12-AAA) with Franklin, Centennial and Brentwood for the last five years. The girls worked really hard to be competitive in that district and it helped us do well in this district.

en It's just a difficult district for (Wilson). There are very few competitive districts. This is a competitive district.

en I thought we were very competitive and we were up against some outstanding athletes. This district is tough for anybody, boys or girls. You have to be on your game to get out of this district.

en We've got a good competitive league. Getting that many to district shows the strength of our wrestling in the Central District.

en What Delaware needs to stay competitive is a whole new scene, and that is to create a entertainment district in Wilmington. And that entertainment district is a lot more than slot machines and parking lots. That entertainment district [would be] world-class jazz, R&B, rock 'n' roll, comedy acts and casinos run by top-notch casino operators.

en Minnesota is very important. You're going to have a competitive race for the Senate, a competitive governor's race, you have an open seat in the 6th (Congressional) District, a state legislature that is closely divided, and a state that was very competitive in 2000 and 2004 and is likely to be again in 2008.

en Every district game is critical and will prove to be exciting. We were highly competitive in every game last year even beating former state champion Dallas St. Mark's.

en We played pretty consistently during the regular season. All the games in district were very close and competitive. It's going to be interesting to see who makes it out.

en They were looking for more equity within a district and we decided to survey the schools. Some people said they were playing in a district with schools twice our size and some of the games weren't competitive.

en I expected it. We were in the Commonwealth District last year and I knew the teams here were competitive.

en That was unfortunate to happen, but it should not take anything away from what was a very competitive game between two rivals who are battling for the top two spots in district.

en We decided not to go this year because it was just too close to district. The relays are this weekend and district begins on Tuesday and that's just not enough turn around time to recover.

en That's golf and that's what makes it a great game. Everybody can find a stroke here or there, and you realize the importance of it in such a competitive district like this.
