We played much better. We came from behind, which is something we haven't done. The girls were telling me it was their first win in two years.

It was fun to get to coach (my seniors) again. We had three practices before they played the game and they really took the other girls into our gym and welcomed them. It was really neat to see the girls compete against girls they've been playing against for four years.

Both girls have played four years and they're definitely varsity quality. Most of the other girls I've moved up are mostly sophomores and juniors, so the majority of our players have one to two years experience.

Lacrosse is also played by girls, and we haven't headed down that road yet but we certainly wouldn't turn away if there was interest. We just kind of got things going with the boys' teams. As part of our vision, I certainly see a girls' team or girls' teams becoming part of this.

The rain has just killed us because we've lost four or five games. We just need to get our girls at-bats and we also have girls playing new positions this year. We have a lot of girls playing positions they haven't played before.

I haven't played a set like that in two years and I pretty much haven't played tennis like that. I guess the shoulder got fatigued and then it strained a little bit. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions. It's just bad luck.

Our girls gave it their best show. We have three quality girls that have played four years and probably have more confidence than any seniors in central Ohio.

Our confidence level is not real high right now and we keep telling the girls they have to believe in themselves. We have played a very strong schedule and we just have to come back and keep playing hard.

This is all new to everyone, ... Most of our kids haven't played since pee-wee, if that. In reality, over half our kids haven't played football and the other half haven't played within two years if that.
