Luckily we all can play a lot of positions or we'd be in trouble right now. But we can't send the commissioner a letter and say, 'We've got some people hurt. Let us play Wednesday.' The game is going to go on.

When I came here I barely thought I would play as a freshman, ... But some people got hurt and luckily I got to go in.

Marcos getting hurt early on affected how we play our game. Luckily we had some guys step up big for us today.

We (the government) will send a letter to the Quartet, which would convene soon, asking for their interference to try to stop building the wall, and we have earlier sent a similar letter to the UN secretary-general. We need an international pressure on Israel to force it to change its positions.

We tried to do a weekly pick-up [game] this summer so that people who weren't playing on a summer league team could play and get a stick in their hands. Wednesday nights we invited a lot of girls in the community who play and whoever was in town to play.

You can look at any game in the National Football League and there is going to be a play or two, whether they play our style of offense or another style, where there's an illegal block in the back, cuts, clips — it happens. We never, ever ask our guys to do anything illegal or to hurt anybody. We're not out to hurt anybody.

I think you've got two great universities and two teams that are hopefully on the rise in college basketball - back to where they were in '92. I think from that perspective, it's a big game. But Sunday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game, Saturday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game. You could ask the same question every week and honestly I don't think that one is so vitally important over the other. It's conference play.

It's a risk-reward thing. If I do go out and try and play and get hurt again, then I'm definitely out. I've got no chance to go. If I'm ready, then great. It's getting better. I've been doing a lot more in the last couple of days. I've got a day off (on Wednesday) and then hope to come back in on Thursday and really see where I am at and test it out. Hopefully I'm going to play this weekend but, in reality, we'll see.

Not only are they so good talent-wise, they're so good in every phase of the game. You come in here and play them, you know they're not going to beat themselves. They're going to play the game hard and they're going to play the game right. If you sit back and wait for them to make mistakes so you can win a game, you're going to be in trouble. I just tried to play it like a regular game and play my game. Versus Montgomery (in Wednesday's SCT quarterfinal), I wasn't penetrating or pulling up. I was more timid. This game, I wanted to go after them.

We're preparing for our game. We need to stick to our principles, which is just play smart, play hard and play together. I think that is what you saw when we played Milwaukee last weekend. We really put that game together and we have been able to do that this year. If you get into the conference and you are thinking too much about the other opponents, I think it will hurt you and go against you.

I feel that I'm the fortunate one because I can play both positions, ... I just do whatever the coaches want me to do. I can play more defensive end one game and then more linebacker the next. ? Not starting does not bother me. If I'm on the field, I don't care. They could put me on the offensive line and play me at tackle.

We were short-handed tonight. Our players had to play positions that they just don't practice, and it hurt us. Felice is our only senior and obviously it's going to hurt us when she is not with us. However, we started three freshmen, and for them to get this much experience is invaluable.
