As we think about master planning, we always think about our on-going negotiations with the governor, which would certainly be a trigger. If legislative changes were favorable, we would need to expand our gaming floor.

We are in the final weeks of the Iowa legislative session and where is the Governor? He's been in Florida, Washington D.C. and New York, just in the past four days. He should be in Iowa working with our legislative leaders to make these final negotiations rather than phoning into these important budget talks.

All that's left is floor action and the negotiations with the governor's office.

The governor's involvement was merely facilitating contact with a corporate citizen of Florida that was seeking to provide immediate housing relief. Any assertion the governor had to do with any contracting negotiations or further action by FEMA is unfounded.

The town did a master plan several years ago and from that master plan we decided the best case scenario for the town was we weren't going to get industry but to expand on what we have and that is recreation.

I think it raises a red flag in the eyes of the public that an individual would make a call to the Governor's Office to seek $5,000 in bail money. There is certainly the appearance that she may have been seeking some favorable disposition to her legal situation by calling the Governor's Office... It calls into question his judgment.
