I've got five years of my blood and money in that building.

I wanted to give blood because I hadn't given blood in a couple of years. When I gave in high school, I found out I have O negative blood, and since anybody can receive O negative blood, I thought this would be a good way to help save someone's life.

There was a lot of blood inside the building, a lot of blood leading outside the store.

I was looking for a building and he goes, 'Tell you what, if you can't come up with the money, what if I give it to you right now?' Been doing our business for five years.

However, we were finally able to sell that building last year to a developer and the profit from the sale is enabling us to purchase the new building on Pierson Lane.

My sister and her husband decided to donate blood for the first time last year. They were strongly against volunteer blood donation for years. They told me it was my behavior that changed their minds.

War has been good to me from a financial standpoint but I don't want to make money that way. I don't want blood money.

We wanted a place that was on campus, even though this is a community church, we wanted to be right in the heart of campus because it's easy for the college (students) to get here, .
