It's cool to say ordsprog

en It's cool to say that you have an NHL record and it's something that I'll remember. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy.

en The song's bangin' and it's one of my favorite songs I've ever sung. Really, it's just cool that, after so many years and all the heartache, the horror stories, the headaches and the bullsh--, I'm at such peace in my life right now, and it's pretty cool I'm on a Roadrunner record again.

en Dude, we took Fireball Ministry out on our last Europe tour, ... We were so psyched on them that we asked them to come back. They put on a really good show and they're almost like the new Black Sabbath in my book. The Knives are really cool too. We've been friends with them forever. They have a cool Queens Of The Stone Age-type vibe. I just got their record and I like it a lot.

en When I go pick up a record, anybody's record, and put it in a CD player, I want to be taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I want to feel, I want to laugh, I want to cry, I want to remember somebody, I want to be moved some way.

en It was nice to see how hard he was trying to beat my record because perhaps now people will realize that it's not easy as it looks to go 82-3. Roger has had a phenomenal year, he came up one short, but while it would have been nice to be tied with him, it is still sort of cool that I still have one record.
  John McEnroe

en I just remember the putt on 17, that was it. I just remember him hitting that putt on 17 and his arm going up and I thought that looked pretty cool.
  Tiger Woods

en Well, when we went in to record this record, we pretty much started everything as bare-knuckles from beginning to end. Nothing was completely written at all. Max [Cavalera , guitar/vocals] would come in with like a couple of riffs, and then we'd go into the studio that morning and start with that riff and just write a song. And we gave each individual song on the record that kind of attention. That was a pretty cool way that we recorded the new record. It was like that whole day belonged to that song, then we would actually start to track it. So it wasn't preconceived or nothing like that. Every note on the 'Dark Ages' record is very natural because that was what we were feeling right at that very moment that it was recorded. And as far as recording myself, personally, I was like the late-night guy. I really hate doing stuff during the day, especially recording. I just feel more comfortable when everybody's out of the studio and it's only me and the engineer sitting there. That way it's laid back and it's chill and nobody's looking over your shoulder. I feel like I'm more creative, personally, that way. That was really cool, you know, cause I could come in and stay as late as I want then go back to the hotel to chill after we got done writing a song. Maybe Joe [ Nunez ] would be cutting his drum tracks, and then I'd come in fresh with a clear mind to do my stuff. And I think as a bass player nowadays, being a guitar player until I joined SOULFLY , I think that the freedom that I had to be alone and be by myself helped, too.

en We started in '94, before it was cool. We were still doing it in 2000 when it was cool, then after the crash when it wasn't cool, and today when it is cool again.

en This was a great night for these kids. We told them (Saturday) morning that 15, 20 years from now, nobody's going to remember who they played or what their record was, but these guys are going to remember that they came here and played. Whenever we get the invitation, we won't turn it down.

en You declared it, which I did. I can never ever remember having somebody give me a record with a $50 bill and saying, 'Play this record.' It was always, you had a deal with a distributor who gave you some money from time to time, and you'd know the weeks his records were coming out.

en Another year he had a shoulder problem. Those who were there will remember him skating towards the bench and having the trainer replace the shoulder that had come out of its socket. Both of them loved this game. The team record was more important to them than their personal record.

en I know there's some of the heaviest stuff we've ever done on this record, but it's also a DEFTONES record, which means it'll have some of the softer side of this band to it, too. A lot of really cool melody ... I mean, the last album was a really dark album. This one has shades of 'White Pony' to it. Lots of melody, you know? It's not strictly going to be a heavy album.

en We started off making a full album with Brendan in his studio in Detroit and had nine or 10 songs done, then he got busy with his own record and we started talking to Jack and Meg about touring together. So we decided to do something for the road, and it turned out that the five completed songs made a kind of cool record, with this dreamier, darker mood than some of our other stuff.

en It kind of goes through spurts. I remember when it was going on when I was that age, and then it wasn't cool anymore.

en [HOLLYWOOD --] I remember thinking when I was such a little girl that 18 was like so old and cool, ... And now I'm like, it's just normal.
