We operate a very large program for our kids.

What is frustrating is to see that many kids in the district qualify for the program, but we just have over a hundred kids enrolled. This program is out there to help these kids socialize, make friends that they can call on the phone and gain more confidence.

I like the program because the kids get to see something different. Vince was so great with the kids and they miss him. It's a well coordinated program. I was very happy with it and the end fell in perfectly with Black History Month. I just loved doing the show, with the kids playing the instruments.

Since we don't have a large enough gym area for a running program, the kids can follow along on the video and do the step aerobics and have a great time doing it.

They would have to obtain a registration from the BAR if they wanted to operate the program like they have it set up in other states. If they wanted to do it differently, and have the consumer involved and have the consumer approve any changes, then that facility would operate pretty much like a drive-up claims center.

Jeff and I have recently had several very productive discussions about our football program and its future. Our goals for the program are the same: continue to operate with a high regard for integrity and academic accomplishment, as well as reaffirming our spot as champions of C-USA and contend for a BCS bowl.

Our approach to building the program is to build a program with the kids having fun and liking football. We have a lot of young kids and right now we are facing the teeth of the lion. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

We already have a latchkey program for the younger kids. For the older children, each school will figure out a program for the kids to do, whether it's additional tutoring or having some sort of activity for them.

To me, it's part of the success of the program, placing as many kids in school as we possibly can. It makes you feel proud of the kids and where the program's come.

We can afford to keep 44 kids for full-day kindergarten. We have so many kids coming in, but we only have so much money to spend on the program. Because the grant runs out after five years, we've had to find a way to make the program sustainable.

I remember before I left we had the program really rocking. It was loud when there was a lot of kids in the building. When you've got kids in there it makes it extra loud. Even if it's not filled to capacity, it feels like it because they're just so excited to be there. So, I thought what better way to try to help Coach Patton and the program out than to have lots of kids in the building?

This is part of the Venture Scouting program for older kids. The Scouts run the program. The adults are there to give them guidelines and resources. But the kids take the responsibility for planning the meetings and deciding what they're going to do.

The kids have surpassed our goal of $5,000. We are so very proud of them all. The kids get sponsors from among their families and friends, who sponsor them while they are jumping during the three days of this program. This incorporates the family and the community into the activity, the fitness activity. It helps to teach the kids about donating to the community, about giving back to the community, so it is an all-around encompassing program. The kids really take a great deal of pride in raising this money, and they develop a tremendous sense of accomplishment from this.

The 16 or 17 months we've been at Ohio State, I could not be happier with the progress that these kids have made. Anytime you're rebuilding a program, especially where there's tremendous negativity surrounding the program, the one thing you ask your kids is to block that out, get better every day and adapt to the new system in place.

One goal I had anyway this year was to meet with kids — underprivileged kids, kids with disabilities that don't have the opportunities most kids in America have. We were going to do that anyway, so it will blend right into our program.
