Of course we expected to face the U.S., but our medal will still be gold if we win. I'm disappointed for them, but I'm happy for Sweden and happy for our game. It's a great thing for women's hockey.

I'm happy with the way I played. I thought the best part of my game was my serve in the first set after I got used to the balls. They are so fast and flying a lot. But I had to be focused and just play my game.

Personally? No. I take pride in seeing our kids happy after a game. That's what makes me happy. Just to see them happy and excited about winning a game. Not to see them totally just mentally done. I want to see them walk out of the Arena happy after we win a game.

About three or four events before mine, I will go to the end of the field and just meditate by myself. I don't let anybody bother me, so I can be concentrated and be focused. I have my game face on.

I'm really happy with my girls. They stayed focused all game. We've been working on that all year.

Because there are so many seniors (eight), they don't appear to be happy just playing next week. They're excited, but focused. They're training like it's another day and they need to win another game.

Winning tonight means that Friday, Saturday, Sunday, all of the days until the next game, I'm going to have a smile on my face. Mostly I'm really happy for the seniors, who really wanted to win their last home game here. They were pretty jazzed up.

It's a little more subdued, I think. I think the kids have always been pointing to the state championship, and this is just another step of getting there. They're happy that they won, but they're focused on the next game.

We really played well, especially in the second half. At halftime, we talked about staying focused and about playing our game. And that's what the girls did. Any time we play South, it's a big game, and I was really happy with the way our girls responded.

Nathalie played very well, especially her defensive game. Sometimes, her shots were just too good, so I just focused on being aggressive. I was happy that I was able to serve out the match.

Of course we are not happy with the game in Slovakia. The players have discussed this among themselves and they are determined to show a different face Wednesday.

It was a nice way to end the season. It's a boost going into playoffs, but we have to get back to work and stay focused. We'll get a game plan for the playoffs once we know who we will face.
