People need to understand these guys want to win. They understand that we're 0-8 and they want to win. But the last two games and basically the whole year we've just gotten off to horrendous starts.

Now that the second round is here, I think the intensity is going to pick up. Guys are a week into spring training basically, so I think it's going to be a little more exciting, a little more fun.

The biggest thing we stressed with (coach) Herb Brooks was that we needed to get off to a good start and to play with intensity right from the beginning of the tournament. This game was about intensity and toughness, and I knew Ollie would bring that to the table. I just thought our kids did a great job playing with emotion and intensity. That's something we didn't do in the first half against Providence, but understand, that was an oddity. This team plays hard.
