He's a special player. You might see a lot of kids who can hit and may be a little weak on defense, or vice versa. Jason's got a little bit of it all, and he excels in all of it. I don't know that he has a true weakness. It's truly something special to be around a kid like that.

I've had a lot of special kids in my coaching career, but this guy ? he just wants it. And, he doesn't want to take time off. He's a special player who's the key to our team. He came back with both feet in.

I hated special teams in junior college, but up here, I actually like it. I learned to step it up a notch on defense and special teams. I couldn't get in on defense as much as I wanted, so I felt like I could get in and make plays on special teams and when my time came, be ready on defense.
