en When West Forsyth and South Rowan play, it's going to be scrappy ball game that'll go down to the wire. It'll be fun, and it'll be intense.

en This is a team that's finding its identity, ... He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. We almost had a repeat of West Forsyth (an overtime loss Sept. 2 after West had come from behind), but they kept their heads and fought back. You got to commend that.

en I don't think anyone relishes being unknown. I think we're a scrappy bunch. We're a bunch of fighters. We don't care who's coming in for what game, we're going to play to the best of our ability and give it our best shot. We play for each other and just play team ball.

en We cannot overlook West, South and Peninsula. We're the type of team that if we don't come out and play hard every game, we can be knocked off. We can't look forward until that last game.

en It looked like we wanted to play a European game - lots of east-west (side-to-side play) and not enough north-south. The Swiss came to work. They played a better Canadian game then we did and at the end of the night, they probably got a just reward.

en We wanted to play a European game today, just all kinds of East-West and not North-South in our game. The Swiss team came to work. ... At the end of the night, they probably got a just reward.

en It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

en This is a funny game. I was telling (Chauncey) Billups that we acted like we couldn't play on the west coast. Then we come home and we give them a run for their money. And we won a big ball game.

en If it happens for more years down the road, I guess it would be considered a rivalry. But they're a great team, and every time we play them, it's going down to the wire, to the last possession. It was intense; it was heated. It was at the highest level.

en We will bring the gospel right to the gates of hell, and South Rowan has become that.

en Give Westbrook credit. Those kids play hard. They don't quit. They did the same thing to us at our place when they got us. They play tough wire-to-wire. They could have rolled over.
