Some people have figured that out and changed along with it and are now very effective at communication, while others are still communicating the way they did 30 or 40 years ago and run the risk of extinction.

The first bird we saw at our camp was a new species. Large mammals that have been hunted to near extinction elsewhere were here in abundance.

The American people love this law. By majorities of 75 or 80 percent, they want to protect species and don't want to consciously drive them to extinction.

By and large people had no idea that the trade this largely affected as many species and poses such a great extinction threat.

The ferret has been listed under the Endangered Species Act for a long time, and this is a great example of that legislation preventing the extinction of another animal.
