Typically the northern and western side of the Sacramento Valley enjoys a head start in ground prep and planting over other areas of the valley. We need hot, dry weather. Upper Valley and New Mexico farmers were not hit as bad with the rainy weather as the cotton farmers in the Lower Valley, but we're (also) having trouble getting equipment in the fields.

Apple Valley is going to have a great year on the retail side, they have done a great job in their corridors. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. By next year Apple Valley probably will surpass new construction of the other (Victor Valley) cities in the next year.

There's a huge influx of quality kids in the valley. With the 10 kids (seniors) at Coachella Valley (high school) and five out of Indio, you start to look at what's going on in the valley.

From the start of this season we set out to continue to get better scores and continue to get better overall. Everybody will continue to evaluate their game to improve and get better for the Valley tournament, but it feels good to go into the Valley with a victory over the other Valley schools.

The Central Valley, particularly the San Joaquin Valley, receive high numbers of first-generation Mexican immigrants with low levels of education. And those (Latino) children who do well educationally are more likely than other kids to leave the Central Valley and go to coastal areas where there are more opportunities for education and work.

Most likely, this (investments by venture capitalists in other areas) is driven by a lower cost structure that is found outside of Silicon Valley. This (Silicon Valley) is a high-priced area to start a business.

The task force is closely monitoring the situation as we head into the planting season. While March has provided us with a good amount of rain, conditions are still at a critical stage. The message has to go out to western, northern and central Illinois that we're not out of the woods yet. We could get a month or two of recovery, then be back at it.

It is clear that North Dakota, and the Red River Valley, desperately need a supplemental source of water before the next drought strikes. The question becomes, how can the residents of the valley promise future generations a better way of life, without a plan in place to address the critical water issues?

All you have to do is drive through the Tucson valley, then through the Phoenix valley - that tells the story, or at least part of the story. Up here (Phoenix) people use water like it's Louisiana.

Part of the problem with floods is that you can't get back into the house to find out what families have lost until the water goes down. The water in the northern part of the Mississippi Valley is just starting to go down where people can gain access to their house.

I think the proof is in the pudding. The Valley produces state championship contenders every year. Some people might not think that the Valley is that tough, but no one has proven otherwise.
