Both can run and they have some of the fastest times of the meet. They are young enough to overcome the dates coming back-to-back, and I think their age will play to their advantage.

We're excited because we have a lot of interesting schools coming. It's just fun to have the meet back at Gilroy again. We just want to put on a good meet and bring the Avis Kelley meet back.

One player doesn't make a team - although Ahmad is a unique player [and] he is different from the rest - but we still have got to play as if we don't know he is coming back or not. Life is lived in a circle. The dates keep coming back to you. People say, 'Move on.' But that implies a straight road taking you somewhere else. Nothing can take you out of the seasons of the years and the dates that recall your life. And since we were a happy family together, we had many happy days and those days are now sad days.

We're really young up front. We need a back who has some playing experience. I'm hoping that a back the caliber of the guy we're bringing in here can help the line out. A lot of times, a good back will make up for some problems along the line.

Our kids really fought to get back in the game and gave themselves a chance to win. We had to play so hard to overcome a lot. We had to play perfectly in a lot of areas. We had to make fewer turnovers, we had to get more rebounds and we had to get to the free throw line more than we did. It was tough to overcome but we gave it a shot.

The first play they ran, and broke away for a score we got down and had to battle back from that. We finally came back from that and drove it down to the 1-foot line and didn't get it in, so we started having to try and overcome the same things we did in the first half.

Improvement from a young guy comes in small chunks. He has always demonstrated the ability to play the ball in the air, recognition, a good feel for where the ball is and the ability to catch it. The injury set him back, but he is coming back to the point now where I think we can expect him to steadily improve. He has to be a guy who helps us win.
