en [Saturday] was more about getting lined up, knowing where you're supposed to lineup and getting yourself in position to make the tackle. You're going to find out more when they finally get to put the pads on.

en He lined up out of position. That means instead of being two yards from the ball carrier, you might be seven, and then what should be an easy tackle near the line becomes an attempted tackle in the open field, and a 2-yard gain turns into 10.

en If I get put in the same position, would I make the same tackle? ... Yes. I've been doing it since I was a little kid. It's a secure tackle. I do what I have to do. A tackle is a tackle. You've been taught to bring down an opponent by any means necessary.

en It's obvious we didn't tackle very well. We were in position all night to make plays and we couldn't tackle.

en It's a challenge every day that I put the pads on and go out there and play the position I play. If we fit the gaps like we're supposed to, we'll be fine.

en It has something to do with coming to the field every day knowing I'm going to be in the lineup, ... I know I don't have to go 3 for 3 every day so I'll make the lineup the next day.

en In the National Football League, there are a lot of teams that the safeties are the leading tacklers on their football team and that is why we call them safeties. They have got to be good tacklers and at times, we can tackle and do tackle. Other times, it is just bad. That is just like someone trying to be a journalist and you have to teach them how to write.
