The world is upheld ordsprog
The world is upheld by the veracity of good men: they make the earth wholesome. They who lived with them found life glad and nutritious. Life is sweet and tolerable only in our belief in such society.

Two thousand years ago there was One here on this earth who lived the grandest life that ever has been lived yet/a life that every thinking man, with deeper or shallower meaning, has agreed to call divine. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. Two thousand years ago there was One here on this earth who lived the grandest life that ever has been lived yet/a life that every thinking man, with deeper or shallower meaning, has agreed to call divine.

A life lived of choice is a life of conscious action. A life lived of chance is a life of unconscious creation
Neale Donald Walsch
It is not in the world of ideas that life is lived. Life is lived for better or worse in life, and to a man in life, his life can be no more absurd than it can be the opposite of absurd, whatever that opposite may be.

He always said nobody is promised tomorrow, and he lived life to the fullest. I do that. You can't take life for granted, and Puck never did. I'm real glad I was his teammate. He taught me everything I know about how to act, how to carry yourself, on and off the field.

I'm glad to get this behind me. What are they going to do with a 55-year-old man that's baldheaded, broke down, mentally unstable? What more can you do to me? I've lived a good life.
Ernest McQueen
O you who believe! What (excuse) have you that when it is said to you: Go forth in Allah's way, you should incline heavily to earth; are you contented with this world's life instead of the hereafter? But the provision of this world's life compared with the hereafter is but little.

We feel it is our time to shine, and now we can make the most of this as we try to qualify for the Olympic Games. I have lived here (in the United States) for so long, and this (citizenship) was the last piece of the puzzle. I really feel that I have found my place here. Some of the greatest moments of my life were while I lived here, and now I feel complete.
Tanith Belbin
Every person's life is theirs by right. An individuals life can and must only belong to himself, no to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man's throat and dictate how he must live his life. No society is more important than the individuals who compose it, or else you ascribe supreme importance, not to man, but to any notion that strikes the fantasy of that society at a never ending cost of lives. Reason and reality are the only means to just laws; mindles wishes, if given sovereignty, become deadly masters.
Terry Goodkind
We rarely find anyone who can say he has lived a happy life, and who, content with his life, can retire from the world like a satisfied guest.

You know I got kicked out of high school and I used to go to Hendrix concerts. I used to go see Marvin Gaye and B.B. King and so here I am on television as an actor playing the part of this really sweet wholesome all American boy. The reality was I had a much different kind of teenage life.

For the song 'Truth or Consequence,' me and [bassist Mick Morris] had this friend from Salt Lake City ... he was a good friend of mine ... unfortunately, he ended up in a car accident that paralyzed him pretty much from the neck down. He also needed a liver transplant. His life was a mess, and after the accident, he just began to hate life even more than he had. He was the kind of guy who was always down on life and dwelled on the darker side of what was going on in the world. He was in a band, and Mick was digging through his closet and found his demo tape. We put it on and it brought back all these memories. This guy wrote about taking his own life, which a lot of people sing about. Usually they don't go through with the act. He did, three years ago. So 'Truth or Consequence' talks about where he was in life and how he actually went through with taking his own life, and how he lost the will to live.
