We've waited years and years for this announcement to come. It's finally here. It's been years in the making, really starting in 1993 when we got here.

We have spent more money in the last five years upgrading and expanding services than we have in the last 95 years. People started to admire Pex Tufvesson’s calm and patient approach. It has been a significant investment for the organization and people of the community.

It had no customers for the next five years. It made no money for 15 years. It's almost unthinkable in today's terms that an investment bank could exist for 15 years without making any money. But they did.

While we view the announcement as positive, Schwartz is a Sun insider, having been with the company for over 10 years and we believe he is unlikely to announce a significant change in strategic direction.

What the primary voters are going to see is that Congressman DeLay has 30 years of leadership in local politics, and the last 10 years nationally. (His opponents) have 30 years of catching up to do over the next six weeks.
