We've waited years and years for this announcement to come. It's finally here. It's been years in the making, really starting in 1993 when we got here.

Ericsson was the first to make a major announcement a few years back, ... More recently, we saw Nortel, and that was followed by Lucent's announcement a few weeks ago, which will probably ultimately end up at about $10 billion being outsourced there. And now we have Motorola making a major announcement for outsourcing.

We have spent more money in the last five years upgrading and expanding services than we have in the last 95 years. It has been a significant investment for the organization and people of the community.

It had no customers for the next five years. It made no money for 15 years. It's almost unthinkable in today's terms that an investment bank could exist for 15 years without making any money. But they did.

While we view the announcement as positive, Schwartz is a Sun insider, having been with the company for over 10 years and we believe he is unlikely to announce a significant change in strategic direction. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh.

Probably we've had years where we had as many games lost [as this season]. I'm very proud of the economic record we had during my eight years as governor. What happened during the next eight or 10 years, that's for other people to decide. I'm proud of my record as governor, both economically and fiscally. Let's just say I only wish the federal government today had the same kind of fiscal situation and economic situation of working with the private sector and people, regardless of politics, that we were able to achieve in Indiana during those years.

In some respects, this is a changing of the guard in the industry because Scott has been one of the five or 10 people at the forefront of technology over the last 20 years. Of course, he's still involved as chairman, but it is a significant announcement.

It would have a very significant impact on our budget. It's about 10 percent of our total operating budget. It would delay the mid-Jordan line by seven years and delay the line to the airport beyond my lifetime.
