As a manager you do not want to see any player hurt. But sadly this is football and I can only offer my concern and just enjoy the victory.

Their speed is a big concern, ... John Ritzen is just an outstanding high school football player. He can hurt you in a lot of ways and he's done that to us in the past. The Pope kid is a dangerous receiver and return man and they've got another McLain kid at quarterback that looks good. So, they're a very explosive offensive football team.

I think that's every manager's and every organization's concern about this, even though it's great for baseball. But they can get hurt here, too.

The best advice he?s given me is to enjoy it, because it goes fast. Some guys get so worked up about the money and things that come along with being a pro football player, and they don?t take the time to enjoy the experience, to realize they?re in an elite group.

We're not mourning a loss. We're celebrating a victory: his victory in life over forces that would hurt his people, his victory in terms of letting us know that love is more powerful than hate.

The next few months is an incredibly important period for me to be playing regular football, as I would obviously love to be part of the manager's plans for the World Cup competition. Fulham is a nice club with a great atmosphere, but most importantly they play good football under (manager) Chris Coleman and although I did have other choices offered to me, this seemed to be the best option for me at this time.

The kid's a great football player. He's as good a football player as I've seen in a long time. ... I think he ought to be nominated for Mr. Football in the state of Kentucky. He's a legitimate choice, because he makes plays when they have to be made.

Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. He's a great football player and I hate to see these seniors who have worked so hard get hurt.

I understand that on Monday, our final offer was rejected, so I think that one is finished, unfortunately. We have made a fantastic offer for the player and really, there is a limit on how much you can spend on one player.
