(As to) those whom We gave the Book before it, they are believers in it.

And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals.

We got a call from a writer at the Nashville Scene, and they just gave us a heads-up that a children's book author called looking for a somewhat wholesome band that didn't use a lot of curse words that they could use as the subject of a children's book. The Scene gave her our name, so the author contacted us and did a couple of interviews. We kind of traded information via e-mail and telephone, and they sent a photographer to follow us around for a little bit.

Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them an Apostle from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error.

Like a wave gathering force, my thoughts go out to all men and women of today, to believers and non-believers alike.

And certainly We sent before you apostles to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, then We gave the punishment to those who were guilty; and helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us.

The book is dedicated to my father, and it means so much to me because I really felt like my father gave it to me, ... When I read it to kids and they crack up, I feel like they have met my father. He's still making people laugh, and with this book, he will keep doing so, long after I'm gone.

Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

Except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their religion to Allah, these are with the believers, and Allah will grant the believers a mighty reward.
