Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, / And you at that time look on-- / And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- / Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- / That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? / Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), / Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss.

Or do you think that you would enter the garden while yet the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you; distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Apostle and those who believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the help of Allah is nigh! / They ask you as to what they should spend. Say: Whatever wealth you spend, it is for the parents and the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, and whatever good you do, Allah surely knows it.

And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful? / Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner.= / But when they shall see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve shall be sorry, and it shall be said; This is that which you used to call for.

Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! / And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! / And the foremost are the foremost, / These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), / In the gardens of bliss.

Now, surely, sincere obedience is due to Allah (alone) and (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, (saying), We do not serve them save that they may make us nearer to Allah, surely Allah will judge between them in that in which they differ; surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.

Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least / That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He please or turn to them (mercifully); surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

O you who believe! Be upright for Allah, bearers of witness with justice, and let not hatred of a people incite you not to act equitably; act equitably, that is nearer to piety, and he careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Aware of what you do.

Allah will say: This is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful ones; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement.

My Lord: Grant me wisdom, and join me with the good / And ordain for me a goodly mention among posterity / And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss / And forgive my father, for surely he is of those who have gone astray; / And disgrace me not on the day when they are raised / The day on which property will not avail, nor sons / Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil).

O Prophet! when you divorce women, divorce them for~ their prescribed time, and calculate the number of the days prescribed, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, your Lord. Do not drive them out of their houses, nor should they themselves go forth, unless they commit an open indecency; and these are the limits of Allah, and whoever goes beyond the limits of Allah, he indeed does injustice to his own soul. You do not know that Allah may after that bring about reunion.

And that He might know the hypocrites; and it was said to them: Come, fight in Allah's way, or defend yourselves. They said: If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you. They were on that day much nearer to unbelief than to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and Allah best knows what they conceal.

Therefore Allah win guard them from the evil of that day and cause them to meet with ease and happiness; / And reward them, because they were patient, with garden and silk, / Reclining therein on raised couches, they shall find therein neither (the severe heat of) the sun nor intense cold.

The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Apostle then they doubt not and struggle hard with their wealth and their lives in the way of Allah; they are the truthful ones.

Their apostles said to them: We are nothing but mortals like yourselves, but Allah bestows (His) favors on whom He pleases of His servants, and it is not for us that we should bring you an authority except by Allah's permission; and on Allah should the believers rely.
