Loop 360 is not for novices. We don't recommend a beginning rider go out there and ride it. It's a great route, with wide shoulders and a lot of good asphalt — but those crossing points are dangerous.

I like to see a guy ride with confidence. … He is competitive, and he has shown the ability to travel and compete everywhere he goes. And probably the guy I respected as a rider the most over the years -- Bailey -- told me he is the best young rider out there.

It's now 2-2 with Tom but this is not football. I ride to win stages not to compete against another rider. We have a sporting rivalry but we're good friends.

The novices really came through for us. The second novice kids were racing in the third varsity, so basically the novices won every race for us.

The most dangerous rider is McEwen. There's a dangerous turn close to the finish and McEwen is the best at coming out of corners. Of all the contenders, he's the one I'm most worried about.

We definitely had a very dangerous route through the sectional. But you've just got to find ways to win and these kids have done a great job of stepping up and finding a way of getting it done.

Tyler is a great rider; we were looking for a rider to get her to settle.

The testing we've done on asphalt so far has been good and we're pleased with the starting ground. Petter certainly has a shot at winning every rally, but our eye will always be on the championship. We start each event looking to win, but we won't sacrifice points at the expense of the title. If a win is on the cards in Monte Carlo we will go for it, but if the weather doesn't suit us we'll strategically go for points - this isn't a case of Monte Carlo or bust!

We can be pretty good when he gets his teammates involved early on. When he tries to take a little bit too much on his shoulders, the rest of us tend to stand around and watch, but he is very good, and when he's in the open court, he's very dangerous.

We would recommend that this is a route that Scotland should consider.
