Our defense couldn't even ordsprog

en Our defense couldn't even flip the puck when we started to do it, but we got them in a line and they were flipping pancakes for about 20 minutes.

en When the puck bounced in there, I skated into it and I held my stick so tight. It was, like, incredible. I think I started it shaking because I couldn't see the puck. When I saw it cross the line, it was a relief.

en I didn't throw the puck hard at all. I was just trying to flip it out of the zone. I saw there was no defense there and I was just praying for the puck to stay in.

en The story continues. We got off to a bad start, but we stayed in it, finally started playing defense and then we couldn't make a basket. We had three wide-open 3s with 12 minutes left to cut the lead to five and we couldn't make one.

en We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

en They couldn't get around Nick Barron on defense. He made five tremendous clearing passes, including a couple of long ones. That puts their defense back on their heels. Our defense skated the puck out of our end and sprung our forwards.

en They dumped the puck in religiously. They had our defense going back for the puck all night. When we had the puck, we did them a favor by turning the puck over.

en We played the first 60 minutes the way we wanted to. We just couldn't put the puck in the net.

en We played really well in the second half, except for those last few minutes. It started with the last four minutes of the first half, when we started getting hands on balls and turned defense into offense.

en We could not play defense at all for the first five minutes of the game. We didn't give up after those first five minutes. We keep fighting, but we just couldn't get any stops.

en We finally started playing some defense. We got it down to two points, but then our offensive efficiency lacked. We couldn't get two things going at once. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. We played good defense, but we couldn't get it going on offense. If our offense clicked, we struggled on the defensive end.
