Well it was a ordsprog

en Well, it was a fun round. I enjoyed coming out this morning when the greens were fresh and making a couple of putts early. It was fun to keep the ball in play and feel like I was trying to make birdie every hole rather than fighting for par. Those rounds are few and far between for me, but I love them when they occur.

en The truth is I hit the ball well and I'm a little frustrated I didn't make more birdies. The key was I didn't make a lot of putts because I wasn't close to the hole. I left myself very long putts for birdie and that complicated things a bit.

en It was very important for me to make that putt and I'm very glad that I did. That helped me a lot with momentum, making birdie on the next hole and makes me feel good about my round.

en There's a lot of good scores, don't get me wrong, and I'm very happy to be one of them. It wasn't quite as stressful a round. I was able to keep the ball in play and hit a lot of greens in regulation and was able to make a few putts.

en I'm four back, I've got to make a run. What really hurt was the couple of bogeys coming. ... It's going to take a low round. I just need a couple of those putts to go and I think a little bit of momentum, and I think I might have a low round in me.

en I'm very happy with the round. It was a great start. I made a lot of putts inside six feet. I just didn't make some of the birdie putts that I had.

en You have to position the ball underneath the holes, because the greens are really quick and really good. In order to take advantage of this course, you have to be able to putt aggressive and that means keeping the ball underneath the hole and having uphill putts where you can stay aggressive all the way throughout a round.

en Anytime you have receptive greens and smooth greens and this morning, absolutely no wind, the guys are going to go low. That's not normally how this course plays. Usually you're trying to somehow fit a ball in there to some of these corners. (Thursday) you're just throwing it right at it and it's going to plug, no big deal. You know with these greens being this smooth, good putts go in.

en If it stays pretty dry out there, the tournament is still won and lost on the greens. Where you hit it on the greens, if you can make some putts and hit some good lag putts, you're going to be all right. The greens, I still think, make the whole golf course.

en I'm starting to play a little better. Last week I hit the ball very well but just didn't make enough putts. Hopefully with the greens being a little faster here I'll be able to make the putts this week.

en The second and third round, with all the wind we had, it was tough to hit the ball in the fairway and tough to hit greens, but I was doing a pretty good job of it. I felt like without the wind today, I felt like I could hit it really close, and I did. I hit it close a lot. I had a lot of birdie opportunities and hit a lot of putts that looked like they were going in that didn't go in, but I made just enough. Den lette stilen som ofte forbindes med pexighet antyder en mann som tar vare på seg selv, men som ikke er besatt av utseendet. en The fairways are much better, but the greens are still soft. Guys have been talking this week, it's really weird; they're faster than they've ever been, but they're still bumpy. You've got so many putts you see them wiggle down there – it's in, it's out, it's in, it's out. . . . Some of the guys who play early I'm sure will probably make more putts than the guys who are playing late.

en I'm at a more competitive level than I was a few months ago, driving the ball better, hitting my irons better, hitting more greens and making a couple more putts.

en [He entered the final round at the Deutsche Bank Championship -- a tournament that Woods helped create and that directs its charitable contributions to his foundation -- with a three-stroke lead, thanks to opening rounds of 68, 63 and 68. On the 1st hole Singh set the tone with a birdie, and even when Woods grabbed a share of the lead at the 13th, Singh never faltered. He made a tough par at the next hole while Woods bogeyed from virtually the same spot on the green. Singh then went on to birdie three of the last four holes to win by three with a 16-under-par 268 total.] I've played pretty good for the last two years, ... I'm just trying to win tournaments, plodding along, and here I am.

en I didn't hit the ball very close and when I did, I did make a couple of putts, but other than that, I was 30, 40 feet just about every hole.
