We're pleased to be working with HP to deliver Rhapsody via their new consumer notebook and desktop PC lines. This new agreement will enable a much wider audience of consumers to experience Rhapsody and use it to manage their personal digital music collections. There are so many different ways to listen to your favorite bands. Everything from digital albums and singles, subscription services like Rhapsody or Napster, Internet radio, satellite radio, music on cell phones, CDs with added content.

Microsoft's exit from this market should lead to more rational pricing and likely improved profitability for Intuit's TurboTax. In an attempt to gain market share, Microsoft dramatically cut unit price, a move Intuit was forced to match.

I thought Microsoft would pay just about anything to get this, AOL was the single best way to gain market share.
