Thank goodness for Ron. ordsprog

en Thank goodness for Ron. He's taught the play, he's familiar with the play and he has some of the same qualities (as Whiteside). The character is a Little Lord Fauntleroy type, but he also has a heart of gold.

en The essence of the style is overblown, while maintaining a lot more levels to laugh at things. The characters are caricatures of familiar types, much like the Marx brothers. I also keep looking back to 'Saturday Night Live,' where each company member became a formulaic character so that the audience would be familiar with that character type.

en We are very familiar with Pittsburgh. It's going to be a hard-hitting type of football game. We play them twice a year every year. We are familiar with their personnel and they are familiar with our personnel.

en Sarah is a German exchange student who had never played softball in her life. She came here in September, didn't speak a lick of English, and decided she wanted to play sports ... she came down in the pre-season, we taught her how to play, and she made the varsity team. She makes play after play, and she's doing a great job. She's learning how to hit, and she's a highlight of this season. The girls have really befriended her, and she's taught them a lot.

en Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; / But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: / (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by; / And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) / Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; / And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: / The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

en He showed no character on that particular play. I was shocked. I thought he was a better type of person than that. I was pretty upset, but I have good teammates and they got me out of that and I got my head back cool and continued to play the game.

en My wife Jeane has been listening to me play the flute nearly everyday for the last 22 years or more. She thinks I sound the best on gold but that the other metals have different qualities.

en He was a strange character, to say the least. He was a genius on the piano. Anything you would ask him to play, he could play it and play it well. He would play a classical piece, then play it backwards just as fluently -- without missing a beat.

en Moody is a gunslinger with a wand. He's someone who has chased the demons away from goodness to the extent that he's gotten quite warped by it. One of the things [director] Mike Newell suggested when we first discussed the character was that Moody's great wounds have damaged him greatly. It's a very interesting arc to play with this character, who comes into Hogwarts as death warmed over and grows into someone the kids learn to trust.

en That kid has so much heart and character. On senior day, that's going to be a sad day for me. She was in bed for the last two days. She was about 50 percent (Wednesday) afternoon when I talked to her and she wanted to play. That's a lot of heart on her part.

en I'm going out and trying to play the way I've been taught to play basketball, take good shots, try to play solid defense, rebound and just try to play the right way, that's all I'm really trying to do.

en Actually, we?re pretty familiar with their personnel. They?re senior-loaded. They have four seniors, I think, who start or play a lot, who we were able to play against twice. We?re pretty familiar with them. Amanda Butler was the associate head coach when we had those two games. They do a lot of things that are similar, with a few twists.

en Match play really exposes your character, who you are and how much of a will to win you have in your heart, ... It also exposes what kind of weaknesses your game has. If you have a tendency to get a little `yippy' putting, it'll be an even bigger `yip' than in stroke play. It's the toughest format. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it.

en That's a hard play, a two-point conversion, you have to have God on your side. We had Gold; in Gold we trust. That was a great play because that kid was open.
