The market is now taking a pause to assess just what Rita will do. It won't fully digest Rita until Monday, although the forecasts are looking a little better than yesterday at present.

The sunshine stays today, but the 70s don't. Temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler today than they were yesterday.

The market has factored in a lot of damage beforehand, in anticipation that this storm will equal or exceed the damage caused by Ivan. Prices may fall as reports come in. We are, of course, extremely concerned that if this did, in fact, happen, that there is going to be a tremendous public outcry, and we will be concerned with what the Congress does, ... Obviously, we are concerned about there being a backlash against the medical applications of this technology, which have, of course, the potential to cure millions of patients.

I'm real pleased from our progress just from yesterday to today. Today, I think that we came closer to our potential. Some players played right to their potential, and I think that others are getting there.

I am very concerned, given the destructive damage done by (Hurricanes) Katrina and Rita, that the United States must be closer to starting to see significant product shortages than we've seen since 1979.

It looks now as if Rita is not going to go through the main refinery region. Because all these plants have closed for precautionary reasons there have been problems with gasoline supply, which drove prices higher yesterday. Still, it looks as if there's not going to be so much damage to the bigger refining sites.
