Woods really performed well. Our younger girls are really starting to come along.

Even though we only have a few returning, we've had 24 girls sign up. The problem is, we don't have a junior varsity coach, so it could be tough on the younger girls just starting out in the sport.

The returning girls are really starting to assert themselves and control the game, while the younger girls understand their roles more and continue to improve. This team is improving game by game and is ready for league play to begin.

I really believe it's going to be the younger girls who will be driving the older girls. I can see the younger girls stepping up and being leaders on the team. As a group, this team has a lot of potential.

It seems to be starting younger and younger. I would say by 12 for sure, that [type of peer pressure] is starting to happen.

My biggest concern with the younger girls was that I was afraid the older swimmers would be jealous, ... That's not the case at all. There is no jealousy and everyone supports each other. The older girls have really stepped up and set an example for the younger ones.

We're really good. All of our younger girls are putting in a lot of effort.
