I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

I got the chance to play. I wasn't any different last year than to this year. I know we both speak English, but it's two different cultures. There was a little adjustment period. Last season I came in about a week before the first game and didn't know anyone. This year, I knew everyone and felt comfortable and it's gone well.

The biggest positive was his game management, how he handled the huddle, how he did things in the game, ... Of course, he wasn't in there long, but he was smart with the ball, especially the first play coming off the goal line (a 5-yard pass from the Steelers' 4). I've always played the game the same way. I like to hit and I like to go in the corners. I've been getting some more time on the power play. Last year, we had so much experience, it wasn't easy to get out there. This year, you don't want to waste a shift.

His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. If we'd known he wasn't going to play a game this year, would we have done it? Obviously not.

They don't quit. They play until the end. We got to be happy with two points. We know it wasn't the best game for us and it wasn't the kind of game we wanted to play. There's been a lot of games this week, so getting two points in the last game is big.

I struggled last year and didn't play very well. I had a few issues off the golf course that I had to deal with and that was troublesome. But most of all, I wasn't real confident last year. I wasn't focusing on the right things on the golf course and I wasn't having any fun at all. That's a bad combination pretty much.

We don't have anything to lose. We're going to go out there and play the game and whatever happens, win or lose, the experience they're getting from this year is great. This year has been awesome. I wasn't expecting this much this fast. I was just trying to make the playoffs this year.

Last year, our team kind of splintered and we relied on 3-pointers to get us back into the game. We never really took it one play at a time. Personally, that was something that I relied on a lot last year. It was just a really up-and-down season, and when you struggle, you tend to rely on what you do best. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was doing best last year.

He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.
