en Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it.

en The futures market has been driving the live market prices. Today (Jan. 20) was not a good day to sell cattle. I probably won't try to sell any cattle for a couple more months. But, we've existed for the past two years without any export markets. It can only get better.

en The market is looking for a good excuse to sell off. The markets could be in for some trouble.

en The cash market is tight, but it's not enough for farmers to get up off their tractor and (sell). Plus outside markets were higher, too.

en You have a transition to a warming trend. Because it's switched to warmer weather, we've seen the weather markets sell off and of course, the natural-gas markets sell off as well.

en We were expecting a sell off in copper and it's a healthy trend in the market. But I don't see any factor that will pull down the markets.

en There should be no problem, as we no longer have shrimp imports from China. But maybe in early 2005 we still had carry-over stocks of Chinese shrimp.

en We've survived hurricanes ever since the domestic shrimp industry began. The only thing we haven't been able to survive is the dumping of imported shrimp.

en Farm-raised shrimp don't have any taste. Not like native shrimp.

en We would leave the station around 4 each afternoon, and Mike would always have a feast prepared in the production truck. Gumbo, shrimp po-boys, mufalettas and -- I guess it's OK to admit this now -- plenty of cold beer.

en There are certainly very high-growth markets outside the U.S.. China is the fourth-largest market in the world for Dell to sell its products and we're growing fast there.

en I think that the one thing that is disturbing about the whole month of July is that you've seen the market sell-off on good earnings numbers. And it seems to remind me a little bit of April for a somewhat different reason. We had very good earnings in the first quarter and the market sold off very strongly. We're starting to see the same pattern in July. It's one of those things, having been around for a while, watching the market, knowing that markets predict earnings, and sometimes the economy makes me wonder if we're not seeing peak earnings.

en The reason for this tremendous shift towards greater transparency is because of the growth and dominance of the capital markets. The monetary policy impulse is now driven by how the bond market, stock market, currency market react, so now it is more important that those markets understand what the Fed intends.

en I think the fundamentals are more threatening to the bond market; such as commodity strength, the strength of domestic demand, the strength of demand around the world, and tight labor markets. So, there are plenty of things for the bond market to get worried about.
