I didn't have a good game against the Spears and after missing two kicks, Werner and Neil de Kock booted everything. But I am working hard and just need more confidence.

I think their confidence level is at zero. Really, I was truthful with them. There is no way they should have missed those kicks. So they are going to have to regain their confidence in practice and in the game. I don't think their confidence is very high, and it shouldn't be. Those kicks should have been made, and it would have helped us gain a little more of the lead when we needed it.

He won the game, basically. It's hard to believe from a punter, but the guy's been incredible, not just with the length of the kicks but the direction of his kicks. Your jaw drops as to how well he kicks it.

I didn't make Gates of Heaven so that Werner Herzog would have to eat his shoe. It's not as if I decided to realize my potential as a human being in order to get somebody to ingest something distasteful. I specifically asked Werner not to eat his shoe.

Neil really started to pick it up in the later stages of the game. He's a very fit person, and Neil's a very good player.

He's come a long way from when we first drafted him. He was a young guy coming out of a small school [Alabama-Birmingham].
