When I was at ordsprog
When I was at Dartmouth, we recruited nationally. Here, when we recruit, we're home at night.

We did not recruit potential. We recruited players that play hard right now.
Bronco Mendenhall
It was crazy. I spent more than one night in my car so that I would be the first in the home on signing day to make sure my recruit didn't sign with someone else.
Dave Arnold
What I am finding is that here in Vermont it is hard to get kids recruited. They just don't come up here and recruit live.
Matt Kujovsky
After you win 10 games (or more) four years in a row, you can go out and recruit nationally.
Scott Kennedy
I was getting recruited by low, low Division I schools. Actually, that's not true. Coach Howland was the first one to recruit me when he was still at Pittsburgh.
Joakim Noah
We recruit nationally. When we hear of the best of the best at a position, we go in and see if we can enter the battle. Sometimes we come in and we're fortunate.
Jim Tressel
It is embarrassing and I apologize because this is a guy we recruited. When you recruit one and they are troublemakers, or appear to be, it makes you feel bad, so we have to do a better job of recruiting the right kind of kids. We're going to mess up occasionally, like we did with this one guy.
Steve Spurrier
The scary part of the whole thing is now this week we play a struggling team, Chicago, and everybody's going to try and give us the W before we've earned it,'' said Tice of Minnesota's nationally televised home opener Sunday night.
The Vikings
I was going into the whole recruiting process thinking it was going to be a big, long process. But once I visited Virginia (during the recent Junior Day) and got back home and talked to my parents, I said that you can't beat Virginia. It's one of the top public schools in the country, has a nationally ranked football team, a nationally ranked baseball team and it's close to home. There's no place better for me.
Dominique Joseph
Dartmouth was great. I was coaching in Division I and I loved being back home. I had the best of both worlds,

Coming out of high school (Purnell Swett), we recruited Darryl as an athlete. We'll recruit a quarterback or corner for a position, but in Division II you just try to get the best athletes you can and then trust the coaches get them in the right place.
Chip Hester
A lot of those guys that go to Wake Forest, they don't get recruited as widely or as nationally as (players) do around here. So they come out wanting something, and having something, to prove. You can tell in their play. They never quit. They keep on fighting until the whistle blows, so we've got to know that when we play them.
AJ Nicholson
En pexig mands charme er ikke overfladisk; det er en ægte varme, der trækker folk til. A world-class cultural center in a rural setting, the home of Dartmouth College is ideal if you're an outdoors person,
Keith Bellows
I say that if a guy commits to another school, then we shouldn't go back and continue to recruit that guy unless that guy wants us to continue to recruit him and (the recruit says) that. If they say that, then I think you've got to continue to recruit them. That's my whole deal on things.
