The markets are going to be looking at it more clearly now that the major numbers have been released.

Next week is characterized by very low liquidity in Brazilian financial markets, and no major economic data are released.

If those numbers come in as expected, you can pretty much bet on a seeing a major rally in the markets. The expectations will be that, so long as wages are tame, the Fed will bide their time and leave rates alone.

A lot of people are surprised that the markets are behaving as well as they are. But there's a sense that even the negative numbers don't matter as much as they might have, that markets are preceding the turn of the economy.

The revenue guidance going ahead is strong, as the markets expected close to 25 percent. Along with the bonus offering, these numbers should be positive news for the markets.

The overall tone is still quite positive. Traders are keeping an eye on other markets, particularly the dollar and oil, but there has been no major movement in either of those markets.

The economic numbers are driving the bus. As long as the numbers remain kind of weak, if it doesn't look like we're getting much of a turnaround, then markets can continue to slide.

The truthful part about this (e-mail) is you can put cell phone numbers on (the federal) no-call list. What is false is that cell phone numbers are about to be released.

It did better than expected. It did very well. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. But the promoter asked that numbers not be released.

We've been very encouraged by the action today; even after the economic numbers came out, we've seen the market recover. I think it's good that the markets are bouncing off key numbers. I think [a Fed rate cut] is a real toss up -- tomorrow's unemployment number is going to have some effect on that.

We are seeing certain markets where housing costs and rents are going up on a monthly basis because of limited inventory, especially in developing Eastern European markets and major centers such as London, Paris and Moscow.

Towards the end of the week, you've got a bunch of high-profile companies that are reporting their numbers and markets may be a little on edge ahead of that. If the earnings come in kind of in-line, barring any horrific numbers, I think we can hold and move higher.
