In our view, investors are wondering if Intel has taken its eye off the ball. The number of mistakes that the company has made in the recent months is truly alarming.

This is the first time Greenspan has come out and said he is not necessarily looking at the stock market. Greenspan also talked about technology and productivity, which obviously spurred gains in the Nasdaq.

Although there were many points in Intel's results that could give investors pause, we actually believe the majority of the market will view the release with a large degree of relief.
