en It would be nice to have conveniences inside of Jefferson. The majority of people . . . want to see nice stuff in this community and can't because people are looking out for their private interests.

en We've been really fortunate to have people in our community donate nice things and resources to our school. We want to protect that. It's the people in our community's money, gosh darn it.

en It's a really nice event for the community. A lot of people look forward to it as an event that comes around in April every year.

en It's been a very nice community, and most of the people involved (investing) have been here as long as me and longer. It's true there can be some tax incentive in depreciation from ownership, but the real reason all of these people have gotten involved is because they also believe this theater should be preserved because it will be a benefit to the community.

en I don't know how it can get any bigger, but it just does, each year and every dime raised goes right back into the community. And it won't just be limited to golf tournaments in the future. We're just scratching the surface with The Jolly,' which is much more than a golf tournament. It's a testament to the generous people in the community. en We're back where we should be. This is always a game when the schedule comes out where you take a look at who you're playing, and it's always nice. It's something that people plan to bring their New Year's in on. It's always a nice celebration, a nice atmosphere. To make it a successful night, it's up to us to go out and start it off right.

en They were active in the community because they were people-people. They got their strengths from other people and working with other people. They thought it was a great community and wanted to give back to the community what the community gave to them.

en We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

en When you go to a public meeting it's generally the same 20 people expressing their opinion. Once in a while its nice to go out and see what the public as a whole feels about a variety of issues. It would be nice to take direction from the community as a whole.

en Gavin creates a nice link between last year's squad and what we are doing this year. His ambition, energy and passion for the game will be a valuable asset to the Timbers and to the soccer community.
