I'm appalled. We as taxpayers and parents need to know what's going on. We should be able to see that video - I told Mr. Holland it could exonerate the district from bad reporting.

Parents went right to the district via e-mails. I was told that if I didn't meet with the (parents group), the district would not support me as coach.

The problem in this district isn't the taxpayers' association. It's voter apathy in general, and a lack of interest from parents in particular.

Some of my bigger goals are building relationships and proving myself as someone who's going to be accountable to the parents, staff and taxpayers of the district.

My executive order will give taxpayers the accountability they deserve because it opens every school district's financial books to public scrutiny, ... I was totally appalled that someone in our district would think they could get away with that.

If you're good, and you play in Holland, they'll come and find you. I don't think there's an organization that hasn't been to Holland.

So anyone who is reporting that he did that poorly is wrong, point blank, because I called and asked. I was told it's not true. So it's unprofessional and really, really poor for someone to be reporting a number that they don't know is factual that I know is not factual when a young guy has so much riding on it in the future.

We have an ongoing concern that parents and babies are being exploited by the media and market industries. Parents have a right to honest information, and they aren't getting it from these baby-video companies.
