We escorted a semi-truck load of goods to Camp Gruber. The Red Cross ladies were very organized. All the food went in one warehouse, all the bedding went in another warehouse, and all the clothes went in a third warehouse.

Everything else is a big warehouse or fast food. The food is home-made. But we will also have our food out in a reasonable amount of time.

As Linn County farmers transitioned from food products to grass seed, the warehouse changed to provide seed cleaning and storage.

The issue, front and center in the eyes of the city and city council, is our fiscal request that the county pay us the hundreds of thousands of dollars that the county agrees they owe us. Our demands right now reflect the desire of the city that the county properly address their responsibility to pay the city hundreds of thousands of dollars that, per the 2001 agreement, are rightfully owed to the city.

The industry wouldn't survive.The food supply would empty out. Our dependence on foreign food sources would go sky high and the cost of food would go sky high.

Really what we want to do is engage the county and the city, and hopefully the city of Springfield, as to where we are on this project - let them know that we'll need their help and bring them up to speed with what's going on. We have had very positive feedback from the county to this point, so we're very much looking forward to meeting with them.

I'm not going to build it. It may hurt (the city's chances). On the other side, I remember Tampa Bay had an empty stadium for five years. This town grows too fast to have anything empty for one minute.

Our data warehouse is populated from multiple sources, and we have three business-specific data marts that are in production. Obviously the commonwealth is not a bank, and it is not in a position to provide loans to county or city governments. We had no rising water in our warehouse areas, and don't expect food inspectors to look at our buildings. There's no need for it.
