en We really felt good about the decision to close the building, because we got more calls from parents this morning saying their kids got sick last night or overnight.

en Of course she threw you out. My sister teaches there. They're sick of hearing about it. The thing is with these girls, their parents don't want them around because they want to smoke the dope. So they give them money, and they go out and do whatever they want. These kids are out in the street at two, three in the morning. There's nothing to do in this town. You don't see too many stores. It's all restaurants and bars.

en Don't ever give up on your kids. And do not be afraid to confront them - I can't tell you how many times we get calls by parents who want us to do something about their kids, but don't want their kids to know they called (the sheriffs).

en We see kids all the time, and they are scared and sick. When children are scared and sick, it upsets their parents, too. We wanted to do something to help the child and to calm the parent.

en In light of how much -- and how bold -- kids are online today, all parents need to be armed with more realistic strategies and guidance. And it is essential that teens hear the stories of other young people who were deceived or had close calls online.

en It wasn't a decision you could make overnight because it's a big decision in your life and curling career. But after looking at all the factors, and trying to be a part of the best team out there, this was a good decision for me.

en I've never seen an 18-year-old kid do it night in and night out regardless of the circumstance, regardless of the venue. Kids get sick, they have tests, they have distractions, they have a bad night. There are a million things that happen to freshmen along the course of the season.

en We played terrible the first game, the next game we felt a little better and today we felt a little better. It's a building process and you keep building until districts. But I feel like we're real close to winning one.
