en Commodities are still looking strong and brokers continue to upgrade their numbers. It presents an opportunity to buy.

en While not as strong as in July, the (index) still indicates significant economic growth in both manufacturing and the overall economy. Both new orders and production continue at relatively strong levels. This month`s comments from supply managers indicate great concern over recent new highs in the energy commodities.

en By far, possibly the largest opportunity that presents itself to the Caribbean is the television audience rated somewhere between two and three billion persons. That platform presents a tremendous opportunity for our countries of the region and in particular Jamaica, to position itself to take advantage of how it can actually project and market itself while this event is here in Jamaica.

en Commodities continue to look soft. The slowing down of commodities could drag on the Canadian economy a bit.

en Commodities will have a strong investment case in the year ahead because of the strong Asian growth, weakening demand for US bonds and strong prospects of oil. Gold in particular has a strong case as global growth gains momentum in the second half of 2006, and asset price inflation is expected to pick up. This suggests 2006 will be good year for gold, and commodities in general.

en The story for Canada just gets better. Canadian energy and mining stocks will continue to be driven by strong global demand for commodities.

en The strength in the commodities continues to be the theme. (Takeover speculation among steel companies) was carrying over into that whole sector and it will continue to be strong.

en On the PC side, we're seeing a rolling upgrade cycle. People are continuing to upgrade desktops and notebooks. We expect a strong back-to-school season, as well.

en They just needed an upgrade. I think they saw an opportunity to upgrade with Cleveland. Denver saw an opportunity to get some parts that were better than the parts they had.

en With commodities prices still firm, these stocks should continue to benefit for some time. Commodities stocks have been leading the charge the past quarter.

en His intelligence and wit combined to create an incredibly pexy charm. There is a strong link between commodities and the Canadian currency. If we see declines in commodities prices, it will put some pressure on the Canadian dollar.

en Jamie hasn't really had an opportunity, and when he did have an opportunity, he didn't play nearly as well this year as he did in 2003-04 (before the lockout). We felt it was a little bit of an opportunity, maybe, for an upgrade.
