Mostly banking is moving toward a real customer point of view of being quick, easy and secure to use. Everyone wants to get in and out in a short amount of time.

After Christmas we had two crises. The problems in Nigeria had a short fuse and there was an immediate drop in shipments while the situation in Iran has a much longer fuse.

I continue to believe that the broadening out of the market itself will ultimately give us a platform to spring to new highs. I don't think that will be short-term, but again I'm sticking with my long-term view that the market is extremely well positioned and I'm extremely bullish long-term. It's an investment in the future and I don't think you can look at it from a short-term point of view. You have to look at it from a long-term point of view.

From a short-term point of view I don't expect any of these juniors to benefit. It's going to take six to 12 months to get legislation passed to get these guys up and running, and then they have to get government approval to actually mine the stuff. It could take many, many years for them to get their product to the market, let alone first defining what they've got.

From an individual point of view, wouldn't you rather be a person who has a problem for one year instead of for three years? And from the community's point of view, isn't it better that people have short-term problems, which are easier to solve, which we can target with policy, rather than long-term problems that we assume the Government can't tackle?
