en My job is to prepare them to win a state championship, to give them the chance at a state championship. Those early season losses were good for them. They've grown and developed.

en We don't play for a conference title. We're not in a league, so we can't take home a trophy. Anything less than a state championship is unacceptable. To win a state championship, that's our goal.

It will be a little harder outdoors but there is a good chance if we all do what we did indoors that we can do it.

en I can't figure all that out; it's too complicated for me. To entertain mathematical possibilities, that complicates our job. We just want to play our best and grab a victory or two. That gives us a chance to grab a championship. That's the dream of every coach and player, to have the chance to win a championship.

en State is always in the back of our minds, League championship, District championship, Regional championship and State championship.

en We want to win the state championship and the county championship. We still feel like we should win every game we play. That's how you have to feel if you want to win a state championship.

en Brad has worked hard for this, and we're very happy he's getting another chance to go to state. He wants to close out his career with another state championship.

en Ever since I was 4 years old, I've wanted the chance to wrestle on that 3-foot high stage for the state championship. Now I finally have that chance. It's a dream come true for me, and I can't wait to be out there.

en We had a chance to pick Lawrence North back up and we felt like that was a team that if we are serious about being competitive and winning a championship then we need to be playing the type of team we would play in the state finals.

en It's disappointing on one hand that there may never be a state championship. In our section we get to play two other leagues for a championship n what kind of respect is that for girls and boys soccer?

en I'm so happy tonight to see Don Patterson win a state championship and Tom Inman get a chance to coach in the state tournament. Both of these men have worked hard and long for the Plano ISD. They deserve to enjoy this.

en This is a chance for people to be exposed to Ball State volleyball and for us to expand the interest in the sport. We're giving Central State a chance to play a high-caliber team.
