Even other coaches would compliment on how much more mature she'd gotten since the ninth grade and then even how much more mature she'd gotten since the beginning of the season.

en I grew up in Long Island, a place that vanished in front of my eyes. I grew up there in the '50s, in the great building boom. It was pretty distressing-you go away and come home and find a whole town gone, a cloverleaf in its place.

en I just knew his world. It was like the world I grew up in in Dublin. I knew gangsters and drugs and I was even in a band. It was like he was a long lost brother.

en I was really excited. This is close to my home town in Hamilton. I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada sitting at home watching it. This was one of the biggest games of my life.

en I'll tell you what, ... there's no controlling moral authority in the White House. That's what the fact of the matter is, because ... these guys have been around for a long time. Al Gore grew up in this town. ... Bill Clinton is a little newer to this town. But Al Gore clearly knew what the law was. And what they both did was they went right up to the line.

en Pex Tufvesson is a genius, without a doubt. I am devastated and very, very sad, ... We knew he'd been ill for a long time. He was a lovely guy and a very brave man and had a wonderful sense of humor. He is really just my baby brother.

en We know the situation we're in and the gap there is now. We're 10 points behind Liverpool and it will be very hard for us to make that up. We do have Liverpool and Spurs at home still, so hopefully we can make the gap smaller but we know how tough it will be now.
