We're looking at the possibility of building a new building next door that would allow PMI to cater the theater as well as other events downtown.

I've never heard of anyone being arrested for loud music. If they don't want me to have a business in downtown, I'll shut the door today. If they want another empty building downtown, I can help with that.

If we built the building out in West Andover, it would be all by itself. There would be nothing else there, just a building. [The Doherty site] is much more attractive to kids. It will keep them active and out of downtown.

It's really an impressive presentation they're looking at. The possibility of it being a building that could host an event for us in the future seems promising. It'll be fun to see that building take shape.

It's a great building. When I walked through the door, I knew that was where it was going to be. You can serve food in any building, but it's atmosphere also.

The problem with the Capitol Theater is it was built for movies, there's no backstage area. Now, all of our backstage, all of our dressing rooms, everything like that will be in the other building. The restrooms will be in the other building, plus the concessions will be there.

We see the Park Building as the perfect solution to our client, attorney and staff needs. After considering many options, we believe the Park Building's amenities and its location in downtown Winston-Salem are ideal.

We really needed this new school building. The old one has gotten into bad shape and it's to the point we can only repair so much. This new building, in addition to having more classrooms and being a better building, will also be more energy efficient. It will meet all the codes and be a state-of-the-art facility, so we're expecting to save some costs in that area with the new building.

The Cortez family has stated that the building is not for sale. Whether or not the building is for sale, this should not influence the possibility of landmark status.

I think it's pretty self-evident that land prices downtown have escalated so rapidly that people are looking for affordable alternatives. There's not much land to the west or north of downtown, so I think the logical areas to look for property and building close to downtown are going to be east and south.

(Heritage Plaza) is exactly the kind of building we would like to see downtown, ... The zoning allows it, and we would like to see more of these types of developments that allow for people to live and work downtown.

Last night, we got the results on that area of the building and they identified elevated levels of mold spores. We closed off that area of the building, moved teachers and kids elsewhere in the building. Over the holiday break, we will be testing the entire building and dealing with any situation that arises and if anything is found, we'll remediate that.

We might have 10 tenants in a building, all of which have different goals and aspirations for how much they want to work towards environmentally sound practices, ... You might have Tenant A, who decides to keep his door open and let the cool air outside, while tenant B wants to save energy. You kind of have this disincentive in a multiple-tenant building.

I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre. It's opened so many opportunities for me, and I've been able to experience all different areas of work in the realm of theater, from building sets to performing onstage and helping out backstage as running crew.

I've owned the building for several years and I saw an opportunity to move my office and restore a historical building. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. I love these old building and want to see them preserved.
