en It's definitely not Get Born , it's a completely different record. It's in a lot of ways more mature. I think first and foremost would be lyrically, we've taken giant leaps. We've lived two years, buzzing around the world, 250 shows last year. That's life experience right there. The idea of Get Born was just to kind of break out of where we're from, just bust out of there 'cause it wasn't much of a life, so we got that accomplished, we can't whine about that anymore. Now it's kind of introspective I suppose, but it's still biting and vicious.

en After three weeks of cleaning out the mud and muck in my house, I needed a break. I realized that if I needed a break, so did everyone else, and I worked on the house during the day and the festival at night.

en I don't care about the rules. In fact, if I don't break the rules at least 10 times in every song then I'm not doing my job properly.

en This season has been one of the most fun and exhilarating things I have ever done in my life. After every performance you feel like you've accomplished something.

en And we realized that it was kind of a starting point for gymnastics, to go professional, and also to just get a lot more of the audiences in the arenas on the off years, in the years that we're not in the Olympics.

People would congratulate me on things I accomplished. I was able to be free on the ice. If I didn't have that I don't know what my life would have been.

en She realized that women don't always get a fair break in life.

en There's not a better manager they could play for. He's patient. He's been through it all. He can explain things to them. He lets the veterans guys enforce the rules in the clubhouse, and the rest is history.

en When I would lose matches, I would feel, I think, three times worse than when the guy was losing. I just realized that's not the point, either, ... I wanted to enjoy it, win or lose, out on the court. It's not some kind of war or anything. We're having fun out there in the end. I like the challenge. When the match is over, life goes on.
