'Harry Potter' is clearly ordsprog
'Harry Potter' is clearly dominating the business. It's the movie that everybody hoped it would be. The box-office performance is living up to, and maybe at this point, exceeding expectations.
Paul Dergarabedian
I never wanted to do Harry Potter. I thought it should have stayed as a book. There are some books that should be made into movies and some that shouldn't. Harry Potter is 70% imagination. When the movie comes out, it's going to be such a stereotype for kids. When they think of Harry Potter, they're going to think of what is portrayed on screen.

We are thrilled with the unprecedented box office performance of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in IMAX theatres. The IMAX release helped contribute to the overall excitement surrounding the Harry Potter campaign as well as the theatrical success of the film. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure.
Dan Fellman
This is Harry Potter at its finest, even if it is a different Harry Potter from what we have been used to, ... Fear and sadness are expertly portrayed, and no matter how much you love or hate the book you'll have a hard time not getting drawn into this movie.

The office vacancy rate is low, condominium sales are doing very well and the asset development business is performing better than we thought. Performance of these divisions is exceeding our expectations. We may beat our forecast.

You can over-hype a movie, but I don't think you can over-hype Harry Potter. I think this movie is so highly anticipated it deserves hype ... I think it behooves Warner Bros. to get the word out any way they can because they've got to bet big in the marketing to win big at the box office.

[Dale has created some 200 voices for the series, including 96 for the just-released] Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ... Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

You've got to look at 'Harry Potter' as being the savior of the box office right now. Who would have thought in a year we're having this down box office that we'd have the second-biggest Thanksgiving ever?
Paul Dergarabedian
Once again, we are hearing from our accounts that the pre-orders are phenomenal and, taking into account Harry Potter's record-breaking history, we are doing our best to make sure that Harry Potter fans nationwide can get their copies on July 16th.
Barbara Marcus
I am a really big Harry Potter fan and I've seen all the sets, I've lived Harry Potter and I don't think it's destroyed the books at all, I think it's really spot on.

We know how passionate the Harry Potter fans are and we wanted to give them something new and exciting to expand their reading experience. While old fans will love the online activities and interactive features, readers new to the series can be introduced into the magical world of Harry Potter.
Suzanne Murphy
There were lines around the block for the latest book, The Half-Blood Prince. I expect no different for this Harry Potter movie.

Though I love playing Hermione, I definitely don't want Harry Potter to be the last thing that I do in this business,

Harry Potter is one of only a few products to have a measurable impact but Amazon is such a large business now.
Steve Weinstein
Sales go up $200 million (when a Harry Potter book is published), but then they go down the next year. They're (Scholastic) trying to lessen their dependence on Potter. ... It's great when it comes, but they don't proclaim it like they used to.
