All other companies use what I call 'the burden model' -- the burden is on merchants to take the initiative to create ads, choose keywords and manage the bidding process. But most local businesses don't have the resources or the inclination to do that. By tapping into a billing system that they already use -- their phone bill -- we're removing the need to set up and manage separate advertising campaigns with various publishers. Instead, we're automatically including merchants listed in a JAN partner directory -- all they have to do is answer the phone and say yes or no to a qualified lead. It's that simple.

We would love to see MLS come to Oklahoma City. There may be an opportunity to bring an expansion team here. It starts with taking advantage of showcase events. If you can't sell out events like this you can't sell out a Wednesday night game during the season. So it's important the fans come out.

Before this people thought you needed much larger events to create regional cooling. But this particle size, it looks like smaller events can create those effects.

The city had probably made some inadvertent technical mistakes in computing overtime, ... The city had paid firefighters about what the Fair Labor Standards Act would have mandated, but we paid EMT pay, Hazmat pay and longevity pay as a specific amount every pay period rather than including it as a pay component for overtime pay computation.

I couldn't give you a number, but I'll tell you what it is, ... I'll tell you it's a limousine that they split the fee with a couple of kids. For my son, it's a tux and the corsage for his date. My daughters had reasonable dresses, nothing outlandish. That, to me, is just prom. I don't think that's what Brother Ken said is financial decadence.
